They came for Maduro in the dead of night, and once they arrived, they were unstoppable. In the pre-dawn hours on the 3rd of January, 2026, a convoy of well-armed military helicopters flew low over the city of Caracas under the control of the United States' most elite unit of helicopter pilots, the Nightstalkers.

But on that chaotic night in Venezuela, the Nightstalkers were only the second most impressive group of special operators inside the city.

The most formidable of all were their cargo. Commandos dispatched from America's first Special Forces Operational Detachment, better known as Delta Force. Once those Delta Force operators arrived at Nicolas Maduro's compound, the result was a foregone conclusion.
